About
I'm Rohan Sen Sharma, a technophile by heart. I love hacking away at any technology I can get my hands on, and I've spent the last several years turning that habit into production software.
I'm the CTO at FCB Technologies in Mumbai, where a small group of dedicated coders and I build B2B SaaS for small and medium enterprises. Our mission is simple to say and hard to do: make the world a bit more organised using technology and data.
Vertical scaling is often just a tax on bad configuration. Most of what I write comes from paying that tax once and refusing to pay it again.
Currently
Running a multi-tenant SaaS platform on Python, FastAPI, Celery and MySQL, and writing up the lessons as Null Tensor, my newsletter on Substack.
Using Claude daily for code review and architecture planning, building a library of Claude Skills for my team, and tinkering with small agents in the evenings.
Interests
Backend systems
Python, FastAPI, Celery and MySQL in production. I like finding the configuration knob that saves a server upgrade, and the query plan that explains a CPU spike.
Building with AI
Daily user of Claude for code review and architecture work. Writing a series on Claude Skills and building small agents on the side.
Organising the world with data
Interested in making businesses a little more organised through software and data, from supply chains to how teams talk about their daily work.
Anime
Death Note, No Game No Life and One Outs are the favourites. Strategy and mind games over power-ups.
